Local policies affected by recent pit bull attacks

Three pit bull attacks in northern California in the last three weeks are making an impact on animal services on the Central Coast.

Woods Animal Shelter in San Luis Obispo has a specific pitbull policy which states that at any given time, the shelter will hold no more than three pit bulls. Staff say it takes longer to adopt out pit bulls, and that the animals do not kennel well.
