Owners Offered $10 to Get Pit Bulls Fixed

The Peninsula Humane Society is offering $10 to pit bull owners who bring in their dogs for free spaying or neutering.

Sadly this also seems like a good way to get people to come in and give up their contact information in order to get the $10 spay/neuter. Then when the witch hunt begins for banning Pit Bulls over the actions of a few it will be easier to track the first wave of them down.

Not to say that people should not have their dogs spayed or neutered. But it does seem to smell like a ploy to get owners to come forward. . .
