Pit bulls not No. 1 attackers
In the wake of two recent dog attacks, Thurston County Animal Services has issued a report stating that bites are not inherent to specific types of dogs but generally are related to human causes such as carelessness.Read more. . .
"I can honestly say 100 percent of all bite cases can be traced back to ownership practices, whether because of roaming or allowing a temperamentally unsound dog at home around kids," said Diane Jessup, education officer at Animal Services, who wrote the study.
